Hello! I know what you're thinking:
"Wow! She's actually posting something! D:"
Yes, yes I know. I haven't posted in a while. But I've been busy, as I'm sure a lot of you have too.
Anywho, I hope everyone's Christmas was GREAT! I know mine was!
These are the last few days of 2012. Isn't that weird? Time goes sooo fast, it seems like. I remember last year's New Year's Eve like it was yesterday! Whooo-ee time flies!!
The New Year is a great time to make some resolutions - meaning plan on what you'd like to do better this next year. Maybe you could plan to be a little nicer to your family, or decide to only take a second helping if you really are hungry (that's a big one for me.. hehehe). Or maybe you want to keep your room cleaner. Whatever you choose, make sure you pick somehting that's realistic. Not something like, "By the time 2013 is over, I hope to be a millionaire." LOL!
So, what are some of your New Year's Resolutions?
A few of mine are to finish the book I'm writing, and maybe even start one that can actually get published! I have a few ideas floating around in my head, but I'm not quite sure if any of them are good enough... ya know?
Well, anyways, I'm running out of time, and I gotta go eat dinner soon.
Oh, one more thing, though. From now on, I'm afraid I most likely won't reply to any comments unless they are a direct question posted on the "Ask Duchess" page. I have a 30 minute limit on the computer, and I'm afraid that if I replied to aaaaalll the many many comments you publish, I wouldn't have time to do anything BUT reply to comments... but I DO read every single one of them(:
Well, gotta go! Bye! Have a GREAT rest of 2012!!
Thanks for reading!
~Duchess~
Yay, you're back!
ReplyDeleteHehe, my resolutions never make any sense. (by the end of the year I'll have discovered unicorns are real!)
ReplyDeleteYeah, I know, it's passed by soooo quickly!! I still remember my birthday...and last Christmas...and everything as if it was yesterday!
ReplyDeleteYou CAN publish Warriors: The Returning Series! As long as you don't use Erin Hunter's cats (because if you did you could make them do stuff she didn't want them to do) then I don't see why not! (But on the cover, you'd probs have to write "By Erin Hunter. Written by Amy Blythe" Instead of "By Amy Blythe). I only know all this stuff because I saw a book in someone's series, on the cover it said it was by the original author but then it said written by ----- (I can't remember his name). And he even used the original author's characters! So there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to publish your book, you just have to send it to Erin Hunter and see if she likes it.
ReplyDeleteOr it could note that it is 'based off of an original series by Erin Hunter'.
