Gerbils XD

Oh, and just in case y'all were wondering (hehe), here's what our gerbils looked like. These aren't really them, I just found them on Google. But they looked EXACTLY like this. No joke!

Arctic Wolves

Hello!

Just thought I'd do a little post on Arctic Wolves, since that seems to be the hot topic for AJ bloggers this week.

 

Artic wolves can be gotten through a gift card - like the lion.

THERE IS NO WAY TO GET A FREE ARTIC WOLF.

There isn't some kinda code you can use to get a free giveaway or something like that.

The only way to get them is through honest, buying of the gift card.

You can buy one at  Wal Mart and a few other stores like that.

Sky High Madness...

 EVERYONE IS PLAYING SKY HIGH!!

I don't know about you, but this new Sky High craze is getting old quite fast. People rarely get GOOD rares, yet they spend most of their AJ time on that game! D: 

Personally, I try it a few times, then quit - it's just NOT worth it! I've gotten one prize, and it was totally LAME! Yellow butterfly wings. . .

Lol xD It's kinda funny, actually. Almost every single one of my buddies that were on were playing Sky High! Haha! 

AJHQ, you sure made Sky High a popular game!

Adding a Header

 Hey guys! Another blogging tip comin' right at ya! ;) 

So I was asked this question:

How do I get a banner for the title on my blog?

(I'm paraphrasing, but that was the jist of the question) 

Well, here's how ya do it! :D

Fist of all, make one on Microsoft Paint, or some other program like it

Then go to blog "layout" and click the "edit" button on the blog title

This pops up. You can choose to have the header behind the blog title and description, instead of the blog title and description, or (in my case) have the header and THEN the description.  

Make sure you click "shrink to fit" so that the header is the right size. :)

click browse, find your image, and viola! :D (I still don't know if that's the right way to spell that word... :P)

What are Clans on Animal Jam?? Answer! :D

 Hey guys! Here's a really weird random conversation that happened to me. Some lion just randomly appeared in my den. Here's how it went:

Weird, right?

But anywho, I was asked what exactly ARE Clans on Animal Jam.

Good question! I wondered that for a loooong time until I read...

Erin Hunter's Warriors series

 That's what all (or at least, most) Animal Jam Clans are based off of. 

Here's how it works.

Someone randomly decides they want to start a Clan on AJ.

He or she goes to Jamaa Township, and promulgates (a fancy word for "declares" or "makes known") their Clan.
Here are some of the names I've seen people call Clans on AJ:
ICECLAN
FORESTCLAN
NIGHTCLAN
DEMONCLAN
FIRECLAN
and, obviously,
THUNDERCLAN
SHADOWCLAN
WINDCLAN
and
RIVERCLAN 
There are a lot more, too. :3 

People that want to join go to their den or Serepia - wherever the person decided to meet.

The Clan leader will accept you into the Clan, give you a warrior name, and viola! You are a member of a Clan! :D 

Clans on Animal Jam are mostly wolves, although some people "pretend" that they are cats. They keep the name Clan, however, even if they ARE wolves. It's just less confusing that way. :) well, actually MORE confusing, but in a different way. ;P

I know what you're thinking now:

"Yes, yes, but what do you DO in a Clan?" 

Another GOOD question! >:D

Clans often "hunt"

 Defend their "territory"

And (most often, sadly...) fight.

Of course, no one was fighting in any of the servers when I needed a pic... but I'm sure you can imagine. Sometimes the battles can get kinda ugly...

There are, of course, a lot of other things you can do in a Clan. I can't post EVERYTHING there is to know about Clans. :3
